This past Monday we had to have our beloved cat Zipper put to sleep. Zipper lived with us for 18 years. She was our first cat and she outlived 2 other cats to be our last cat. I want to thank her for allowing me to love her. I will always miss her.
Dear Nan, I'm so very sorry for your loss. What a sweet picture of Zipper. You were a loving family for 18 yrs. & your precious pet was lucky to be soooo loved by you & Bill. Big Hugs to you both.
I've left an award for you on my blog! (Had to laugh because at first I called you "Maniac" for Mosaics!! Pretty silly, huh?!?!
Nan I am so sorry. You gave her the best 18 years. You and Bill are wonderful to love your kitties the way you do.Sending hugs cause I know it hurts so much.No matter how hard you try to feel better.Someday some new kitties will have the best life they have ever known.Hugsss.Jen
I too am so sorry. I am glad though that you got those extra months with her. What a lucky cat to have had you and Bill as her companions for her lifetime!
I'm so sorry to hear about your beloved cat. I have two dogs, and know how easy it is to fall in love with them. Pets should definitely be part of the family. All the best, Debi
I am so sorry to hear about putting your cat down. we had to do that ours also, so i know how you feel. they are like family and get into your hearts so fast.
Okay, let me tell you that I'm TOTALLY ADDICTED to mosaics made from broken china! Once I glued down that first tile cut from a broken plate I was HOOKED! Initially, I bought my broken china mosaic tiles on Ebay. However, there were many times that the tiles I received were not quite as good as the pictures had led me to believe. I decided to buy some china plates and cut my own china mosaic tiles! I just knew I could do a better job than some of the sellers on Ebay. In order to finance my addiction to mosaics, I began selling the broken china tiles I had left over from my own projects. Eventually I opened my own website, www.ManicForMosaics.com, to start my broken china mosaic tile selling empire! Now I buy antique, vintage & new china plates & dishes to hand cut into mosaic tiles. When my mosaic art started taking over my house I decided to sell a select few of my pieces on my website. That eventually led into my hosting the art of a few mosaic artists who wanted to sell their pieces. My website also has detailed instructions on how to do mosaics yourself. Check out www.ManicForMosaics.com & you may find yourself inspired to create something mosaic!
